West London NHS Trust are recruiting for Mealtime Support Volunteer. This role is currently being offered to those interested in career in health and social care as part of their Volunteers to Careers pilot service. West London NHS Trust are keen to hear from under represented groups from the local community in West London with a desire to better access their healthcare careers.
Commitment of once a week, currently greatest need for volunteer support during weekdays Mon-Fri, during lunchtime, 12:30pm - 2pm.
As a Mealtime Support Volunteer, candidate will support patients on wards in an acute setting through a variety of specific meal time tasks.
You will play a crucial role in the hospital in helping to support the wellbeing of patients and reduce the risk of malnutrition/dehydration, which is a vital part of a patient's recovery.
