Recruitment day from 10:00am – 17:00hrs at The Training Centre, Ealing Hospital, 601 Uxbridge Rd, Southall, UB1 3HW.
London Northwest NHS Trust that consists of Ealing, Northwick Park and Central Middlesex Hospitals.
TITLE OF POST: Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW)
SALARY BAND: Band 2 (£18K- £20K plus high-cost living allowance which can go up to £24K+)
HOURS PER WEEK: 37.5 (full time, permanent)
LOCATIONS: Various West London Hospitals available
Northwick Park Hospital: home to one of the busiest emergency departments (A&E) in the country. The hospital provides a full range of services including the country’s top-rated hyper-acute stroke unit and one of only three hyper-acute rehabilitation units in the UK
St Mark’s Hospital: an internationally renowned specialist centre for bowel disease
Ealing Hospital: a busy district general hospital providing a range of clinical services, as well as 24/7 emergency department and urgent care centre, and specialist care at Meadow House Hospice
Central Middlesex Hospital: our planned care site, hosting a range of surgical and outpatient services and collocated with an urgent care centre.
Are you looking at commencing a career in the NHS at your local Hospital? The Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) post will act as an entry point into the NHS, where you will receive the training, supervision and support you need to become HCSW. All HCSWs new to the NHS and care are offered the Care Certificate programme, which forms part of the Level 2 Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship. You will develop skills which will enable you to support our Nursing Associates and Registered Nurses in providing care.
