NHS careers insight session for residents with SEND and have been in care

We partnered with the North West London Health & Social Care Skills Academy at NHS North West London and West London NHS Trust to deliver a recent careers insight day at Hounslow House.

Around 20 residents attended, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and young people from the DFN Project SEARCH Supported Internship programme.

The session introduced participants to a range of career pathways within the NHS and social care sector, helping them prepare for volunteering and employment opportunities.

Participant feedback showed that 90% agreed the session improved their understanding of NHS career pathways.
